To set up your email, open
up 'Outlook Express'. Ignore any error messages
you may receive by closing them out. When you are in the program:
Click on the 'Tools'
toolbar at the time, and then click 'Accounts'.
Click on the 'Mail'
tab. Delete anything in this tab by first clicking on it
with the left mouse button one time, and then clicking the
'Remove' button on the right.
Click 'Add' and then
You will be asked for a display name.
Type in what you want people to see when you send them mail.
Your email address is fine, or your name. Click 'Next'.
You will be asked for your email address.
Enter it, and then click 'Next'
You will be asked what type of server
your mail server is. Leave it at 'POP3',
this is correct. The incoming mail server is 'pop3.gcccomputers.com'.
The outgoing mail server is 'smtp.gcccomputers.com'.
Then click 'Next'.
Change the account name box to your
FULL email address like you entered in step 5. (i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org)
Enter your password, and then click
Exit and then re-load Outlook
Express and you will be able to receive your email.
